Tournament Spotlight: AIA Florida Golf Classic
The AIA Florida Golf Tournament held on August 1st, part of the organization’s Annual Conference weekend, brought together architects and industry leaders from across the state for a memorable day on the course. Teams enjoyed friendly yet competitive play, taking on Westchase’s challenging layout under perfect summer skies.
The American Institute of Architects Florida Chapter (AIA Florida) represents over 3,700 members in the architecture and design community. Their mission is to advance the profession of architecture through education, advocacy, and professional excellence — and this tournament perfectly blended those values with a day of fun on the fairways.
We’re proud to have hosted this group and thank AIA Florida for choosing Westchase Golf Club as part of their conference festivities.
Event Highlight: A 75th Birthday to Remember
We had the absolute pleasure of hosting a surprise celebration for Ray DiPompo’s 75th birthday, lovingly planned by his wife Carey and son Joe. With friends and family in attendance, the clubhouse was filled with heartfelt moments, warm toasts, and unforgettable memories.
From the beautiful room setup to the outstanding food and service, it was a joyful afternoon that truly reflected the spirit of Ray and the love surrounding him.
